Ethics/Values to help preserve
Our Planet, Our Home
part 2

  • Our relationship to everyone and everything is our only true possession.
  • To develop ethical relationships with the other life forms that we share the planet with, based on respect for the sanctity of life.
  • To acknowledge and preserve the wisdom of the old ways that help to guide us to the choices we need to make today.
  • To create and preserve a healthy habitat/environment for future generations of all creatures and peoples of the world.
  • The most valuable things in human life cannot be bought with money. Hence the old saying, "The best things in life are free".
  • Ultimate wholeness - (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual) is the objective of human life.
  • Recognition of the responsibility to question established powers and concepts including government decisions, standards of living, population factors, global economy (agribusiness) etc.
  • Simpler life style with greater (w)holistic understanding of our interconnected universe and the cyclical nature of life.
  • To develop better communication intergenerational for a greater appreciation of what is shared.
  • To promote recognition amongst older persons of their ongoing worth within the population, including their capacity to inspire.
